I woke up at eight o’clock, had breakfast and started cleaning. I polished all the furniture in the house.
Alex and I went to the mall in the afternoon to look for a present for Martina’s bridal shower. I didn’t find anything, Alex sure is getting hard to handle in the mall. He doesn’t want to do anything I want to do. I don’t know if it’s the medicine or just the stage he’s going through.
We came home and I started dinner. After dinner we went for a walk.
Alex went to bed around ten o’clock.

I woke up at eight thirty. I gave Alex his breakfast and had a shower. Mom phoned and invited us for dinner.
Alex wanted to go to the beach but first we wanted to get some bedding plants for the barrel.
We came back, had lunch, planted the plants, then we went to the beach.
Alex had a good time at the beach, he built, dug in the sand and went into the water quite a number of times.
We got to Mom and Dad’s at three o’clock. We had dinner at five o’clock.
We came home at nine o’clock. Alex fell asleep on the way home. I put him into his bed.
I went to bed after eleven o’clock.

It’s Mom and Dad’s anniversary today, they’ve been married for 45 years.
Alex woke me up at eight o’clock, crying. We watched TV for awhile then we had breakfast.
Alex really has the giggles today, all he had to do was look at me and he would start to laugh.
We got dressed then we went outside and did some gardening at the side of the house. We came into the house at eleven o’clock. My back was bothering me so I thought I would have a rest before I would do under the stairs.
Alex and I had lunch, then Charlie and Alex went outside. Charlie cleaned out under the stairs which was nice.
I played with Alex after he came inside. He’s been asking me to play with him all day. He seems tired the last few days but Alex has been taking prednisone. I guess that’s his problem.
We watched TV for awhile then I started making dinner. Alex wanted dinner right away, he had dinner at four thirty. I wanted to wait until later.
I had to keep Alex entertained most of the afternoon. After he had dinner he almost fell asleep. We went for a walk at five o’clock.
I had dinner at six o’clock, Alex wanted to have dinner with me so he ate again. After dinner I gave Alex a bath and got him ready for bed. Alex started picking up his toys.
Mom phoned and I wished them Happy Anniversary. Alex had wanted to do the same so I called him to the phone, but he wouldn’t talk to them. When I hung up the phone Alex was furious. He said I wanted to wish them Happy Grocery. I said it’s Happy Anniversary, Alex said I can’t say it very well. I told him it was okay.
We phoned back, Alex had the receiver and I told him when someone answers the phone to say hi. Dad must of answered because Alex said it’s Pa on the phone. I said no it must be Grandpa say hi. Alex talked to both Mom and Dad. I talked to Mom afterwards and told her how mad Alex was. While I was on the phone Alex went to bed. After I got off the phone I checked on Alex and he was fast asleep.
I did the dishes and put Alex’s toys away then I had a bath.
I wrote in the journal for about an hour.
I’m going to bed now.

I woke up at eight thirty, Alex came in a said he wanted me to wake up.
Alex came into bed last night a three o’clock
I had breakfast and put away the dishes. Charlie said he wanted to go to the mall. I didn’t really want to go as I hadn’t had a shower yet but he said I should look for an outfit for the wedding. So we went to the mall.
What do you know I found an outfit to wear. It’s a blouse and skirt, it looks pretty good on.
Alex wanted something to eat as usual, he must be going to grow again. We bought Alex lunch then we went home.
I had a shower when I got home. After I had a shower Alex said he wanted to go see the Benji movie. It surprised me as I thought he was too tired.
I had lunch and got ready to go. We had to wait until one o’clock since Alex had to have his medicine.
We went to the theatre but it wasn’t open yet. We waited about twenty minutes then we went in. Alex fell asleep half way through the show. The movie was Benji the Hunted, I really enjoyed it. I love all the Benji movies, he or she reminds me so much of Missy and I sure miss the old girl. She was a very special dog to me. She treated me like she was my very first dog. When I left home she still greeted me and she was Dad’s dog, that’s for sure.
After the movie Alex woke up and he wanted me to carry him but I told him if I had to carry him, we would be going home. Alex started to cry and stomp his feet. I had to talk to him for awhile and he finally decided he wanted to go to the toy store, so he stopped complaining.
We came home at four thirty, we had dinner after five o’clock. We watched TV until six o’clock, then I wrote in the journal for about an hour.
I put the sprinklers on and went downstairs to exercise.
I moved the sprinklers at eight o’clock, then I gave Alex a bath. Alex went to bed at nine o’clock. I did the dishes, put the garbage downstairs and wrote in the journal.
It’s almost ten o’clock, I’m going to get ready for bed.

I woke up at ten o’clock. I had breakfast and cleaned up the house. Charlie went to get the groceries. Alex had a shower and I got him dressed. Charlie had given Alex his breakfast.
When I told Alex he had to go to the hospital, he was really mad. He started saying things about the hospital and the nurses.
We had lunch and after lunch Alex had an upset stomach. Mom phoned and invited us for dinner.
We left for the hospital at 12:50 p.m. Just after we got there they asked Alex if he would like to go on a parade. Alex was really excited that he was going to be in a parade. We went through the third floor and then we went outside where they judged the different floats. Chemotherapy won best medical float.
We got back to the clinic at 2:45 p.m. I went to the pharmacy and they said it would be half an hour.
Alex had an I.V. push when I came back. Winnie did it and just as she was putting the needle in Alex moved. The needle went right through the vein, so Winnie had to take it out. She decided to use the vein in his foot. I didn’t really like the idea but Winnie said Alex’s veins in his hands and arms are crooked and very thin. Actually it seemed better when it was done in his foot.
We left at three thirty, we picked up the medicine from the pharmacy and went to Mom and Dad’s.

I woke up at eight thirty. I ‘ve been on this three day diet, and yesterday was the last day. I weighed myself this morning and I didn’t loose one pound. I couldn’t believe it, you’re suppose to be able to loose ten pounds after the first time you go on it.
I had breakfast and cleaned up the kitchen. Alex went outside with Charlie, he was washing his car. Alex came in just when I was about to have a bath. I got dressed instead. Alex played with his cars then he had something to eat.
I had lunch and then I got ready to go out. I took Alex to see Snow White. We went early but there was no one there so we went to McDonalds and got Alex some fries. We went back but the ticket office didn’t open for another ten minutes.
After the show we went to the mall and had dinner there. We bought Kelly his dog food and came home. We got home after six o’clock, Alex went and played in the spare room.
I went downstairs with Alex and exercised. Alex went to bed at eight o’clock.
I wrote in the journal for about an hour. I watched TV and put the dishes away.

Alex woke me up around eight o’clock, he wanted me to get him changed. I told him Charlie was up so why didn’t he get Papa to get him changed. Alex screamed at me he wanted me. By this time Charlie came in and asked Alex what was the matter. Alex told him and Charlie said come on them and I’ll get you changed. Alex started screaming, Charlie ended up dragging him out of our room to his.
Charlie took Alex clothes off, gave him a bath and got him dressed.
I got up and had breakfast. My back felt quite a bit better. I cleaned up the house, put Alex’s toys away and made the beds.
We had lunch and went to the mall. I received our family allowance cheque, I let Alex pick something out. We came home around four o’clock. We went outside and Alex rode his bike. We came in before seven o’clock and Alex played with his new toys.
Alex went to bed at 7:30 p.m. I tided up the house, rearranged Alex shelves in his room, put the fan and luggage in the storage room.
I went to bed before eleven o’clock. Alex came into the bed at 11:45 p.m. and woke me up. After a few minutes he said he was hungry. I got him a cup of milk and went back to bed.

I woke up at eight thirty, my back sure hurts. I can hardly bend over, every since going to Blair’s and sleeping on that lumpy bed my back has bothered me.
Mom called last night to tell us that their friends from California arrived yesterday. I asked if they wanted to see Alex. They sent Alex two presents a month or so ago. They have another present for Alex. Mom phoned this morning and said we could meet them at Stanley Park for lunch.
We left before eleven o’clock. We met them at 11:45 a.m., we went on the train first then we had lunch.
They’re really nice, they asked about Alex. Which most people don’t tend to do.
We went to Lougheed mall afterwards. Then we rented a video.
We had dinner at five thirty, Charlie didn’t go to work today. They didn’t have any work for him.
At four o’clock Alex complained of a pain in his stomach. He didn’t eat too much for dinner, I gave him some Tempra. Alex fell asleep at six o’clock on our bed.
I had a bath, I thought it would help my back. After I got dressed I put Alex back into his bed.
We watched the video and I wrote in the journal. It’s almost ten o’clock, I’m going to bed soon.

Charlie woke me up at 9:30 a.m., he said Alex is just sitting there not saying anything. I got up and checked on Alex, he was just tired. He’s not use to doing very much and it’s been a little bit too much for him.
Alex sat and watched TV until noon. I cleaned up and had a shower. Alex played most of the afternoon.
We had a nice quiet day, it was very enjoyable.
I cleaned the bathrooms, washed the floors, Alex and I went outside and did some gardening. By dinner time my back was really hurting.
We had dinner at five o’clock. Shirley phoned, she wanted to go to P.J’s but we had dinner already. I started a new diet today so I wouldn’t be able to eat anything anyways.
Shirley came over after she had dinner. She brought over a tape. Shirley left around ten o’clock, I read for about half an hour. I got out of bed to check Alex and my back was terrible. I woke up a few times during the night. Alex came into bed before Charlie came home, so Alex and I slept in our bed. Charlie slept in Alex’s bed.

Charlie woke me up at nine o’clock, saying what you haven’t got up yet. Are you going to sleep all day? I told him what are you talking about, you fall asleep while watching TV. You might sleep more than I do! Nothing is more irritating than someone telling you that you sleep too much. It’s ridiculous when you come to think of it, Charlie has been complaining that I sleep too long since we were married. One weekend not long after we were married Charlie decided I wouldn’t sleep in so he woke me up early both day’s. By Monday I started seeing spots from lack of sleep.
Charlie said it’s such a nice day let’s go out. Can you be ready in half an hour? I said I guess so.
We left at ten o’clock for Vancouver Game Farm. We walked around most of the area then we had lunch. We drove around the park again. We drove home around one o’clock. I almost feel asleep on the way home.
Alex played most of the afternoon. I changed the sheets on both beds. I played with Alex for awhile then I wrote in the journal.
I started dinner and gave Alex gravol, half an hour later I gave Alex Methotrexiate.
Alex and Charlie went outside to water the lawn. I finished cooking dinner, we had dinner at five thirty. After dinner I cleaned up the dinner dishes.
We went grocery shopping and rented a couple of videos. When we got home Alex watched his video, I cleaned up the house.
Alex went to bed at nine o’clock. We watched our video, when it’s over I’m going to bed.

I woke at ten o’clock with Alex banging a teddy bear on my pillow. I told him to stop it, as far as I’m concerned it’s no way to wake up. Alex told me he wanted me to wake up, he wanted me to play with him.
I took Alex’s sheets off his bed. I gave Alex something to eat and his medicine. Then I gave him a shower and ironed my shirt. Charlie brushed Alex’s teeth and got him dressed. I got dressed and we left the house around twelve o’clock. We went to see Mitch play football. We got there around one o’clock. Mitch was the one of the smallest boys on the team. They lost by one point.
After the game we went to Mom and Dad’s. Alex feel asleep at 3:30 p.m., Charlie put him on Mom and Dad’s bed.
We had dinner at 5:30 p.m. I didn’t wake Alex up I figured it would be better to let him sleep. Alex woke up and I gave him his diner.

I woke up before ten o’clock. I had breakfast and cleaned up the house.
Charlie had been working on the basement, he came up and had lunch. After he had eaten lunch he said he had a lump in his mouth. I said it’s probably a cold sore, it probably feels bigger then it is. He went and looked in the mirror. Then I heard what the heck is that! I went to the bathroom and he showed me. It sure looked gross, we both thought it reminded us of something from Alien, the movie. Charlie said looks like I’ll have to go to the hospital. I went and phoned the doctor. The receptionist said if we came right away the doctor could see Charlie. Charlie left for the doctors office.
He wasn’t gone very long, the doctor said the fish Charlie ate for lunch must of poked into a blood vessel. The doctor said he couldn’t drain it as it might get infected. The doctor told Charlie to come back on Monday and see Dr W.
We went downtown around two o’clock. We went to A & B Sound and bought Dad’s birthday present. Then we went to Pacific Centre and walked around. We went to dinner and a movie. We saw Superman IV, it wasn’t very good. It seems like it’s more suited for children. Alex really enjoyed it anyways.
We got home around nine o’clock, Alex fell asleep in the car. I put him in our bed as his sheets are in the wash.
It’s 9:40 p.m., I’ll either read or watch TV for awhile then I’ll go to bed.

Charlie woke Alex and I up at eight o’clock. He told us it was nine o’clock which he has been doing for years. I don’t know who he’s trying to fool!
We got dressed and checked out of the motel around nine o’clock. We went to Smitty’s for breakfast. Alex had his medicine at the restaurant.
After having breakfast we went to a couple of the shopping malls then we went to Crystal Gardens. It’s quite nice, it has a lot of varieties of birds.
I was going to walk over to the shops but Alex was complaining. He wouldn’t have anything to do with me. All he wanted was for Charlie to hold him. It sure is making it difficult for me, he always came to me and now he doesn’t want me.
We went to Burger King for lunch and then we drove to the ferry terminal. We were able to catch the three o’clock ferry.
Charlie and I were really tired we almost fell asleep. Alex had fallen asleep in the car on the way so he was full of energy. Alex and Charlie walked outside most of the time but it was too windy for me. We were able to find seats on the upper deck. I sat and read awhile Alex and Charlie went outside.
After we got off the ferry we went to Mom and Dad’s. Joan and the kids were there. We left around eight o’clock, I gave Alex his medicine before we left.
Charlie unloaded the car and I unpacked everything. Then I went and had a bath, Alex was asleep in our bed. I went put Alex’s sheets on his bed, and put Alex in his own bed.
I went to bed shortly after.

We woke up around seven o’clock. I sure was tired, I went and had a shower.
I gave Alex gravol and we left at quarter to nine. I phoned Maureen last night and this morning but there was no answer. We decided we would go to Victoria and not to Nanaimo after all.
We went to the Tsawwassen ferry through Surrey, it took us about an hour. We didn’t make the ten o’clock ferry, it was full. We made it on the ten thirty ferry.
Alex liked going on the ferry, he liked going outside the most. We went into the gift shop. Alex wanted to send Grandma and Grandpa a postcard. He also wanted to buy a toy car.
We got off the ferry at 12:45 p.m. and it took us about half an hour to get to Victoria. We drove around for awhile checking out the motels. Charlie phoned a few and we finally decided on Doric. We checked in and put our stuff in our room. Then we went to downtown Victoria.
We went to the Little People Museum at the back of the Empress Hotel. Alex really enjoyed that and he bought a double Decker bus. Then we walked down to the Parliament buildings, back to the Empress Hotel and went into the hotel. We went to Chinatown afterwards, it’s quite small. We wandered through the stores and went for dinner at a restaurant there.
We went back to the motel and soaked our feet. We’re not use to doing so much walking. We decided we had better go to Butchart Gardens before it got too dark. We arrived around eight o’clock. Alex complained that he couldn’t walk so we got him a stroller. We watched a show called Just for Fun which was quite good. It’s a variety show of singing, dancing and comedy. We walked to the sunken garden and saw the waterfall. It’s really beautiful, by this time as it was getting dark.. They had all sorts of lights on it.
We walked through the rest of the garden but it was really dark by then so it was pretty difficult to see.
We went to the gift shop, it was really crowded. Everyone seemed to be buying something. We bought Alex a t-shirt, Monique a t-shit for her birthday and dried flowers in a glass to hang in a window.
We left the Gardens at eleven o’clock. Alex fell asleep on the way back to the motel. I put him into bed and he didn’t wake up.

We woke up around eight o’clock. I had a shower and got dressed, then I gave Alex his breakfast and his medicine. After that I got Alex dressed and Charlie brushed his teeth.
We left the house before 9:30 a.m. and got to the hospital at ten o’clock. The children at the hospital have to be tagged now. One of the kids took off last week and they couldn’t find. him.
As usual we had to wait a long time before anything was done. The nurse did Alex’s blood test around eleven o’clock. I was talking to Janice, I told her how nice it was not having to come in so often. She said all the nurses have commented on how Alex has adjusted to the Clinic and his treatments. Janice told them that Alex is very vocal about it once he leaves the hospital. It was nice to know they knew that.
We left around eleven thirty and went to a Won-Ton House for lunch. We got home around one o’clock.
Mom phoned and I let her know Alex’s blood was okay. I had asked her if she would look after Kelly when we go to Victoria. She wanted to know when we were going I told her I would phone her back as Charlie wasn’t sure when he wanted to go.
I wrote in the journal for awhile. I gave Alex gravol and about forty five minutes later I gave him Methotrexiate. Charlie went out, Alex and I both fell asleep in our bed.
I woke up after four o’clock, Alex was still asleep.
We woke up Alex and left the house shortly after five o’clock. Unfortunately I forgot to phone Mom and tell her we were coming over to drop Kelly off, that we would be leaving for Victoria tomorrow.
We went to Arby’s for diner and then went to Mom and Dad’s. We left around eight thirty and got home after nine. I started packing and put Alex to bed.
I went to bed before midnight.

Alex woke me up around nine o’clock, he wanted me to get him dressed. I got him dressed I made waffles for breakfast.
Mom phoned in the morning wondering if we would be over today. I told her yes after I talked to Charlie. Then Mom asked us for dinner.
Alex wanted to go to a beach, we got ready and left before twelve o’clock. We went to Spanish Banks, we drove around for about half an hour before we found a parking space. Alex fell asleep on the way over but woke up just before we parked the car.
Alex and I found a spot while Charlie went and got fish and chips. Alex had a lot of fun digging in the sand. We stay until around three o’clock then we went to Mom and Dad’s.
We had dinner around five o’clock. Alex ate quite a lot for dinner. At six thirty he said he wanted to go home. Charlie was able to get him to go to sleep on the sofa. We watched TV until eight thirty then we went home.
The moon was really big again tonight, Alex watched it all the way home.

Alex woke me up at nine o’clock. Charlie got him dressed and I got Alex his breakfast and medicine. I cleaned up the house, did the laundry, changed the sheets on our beds and got Alex to help me put away his toys.
I had a shower and got dressed. Charlie went out to the bank. I ironed my shirt and changed my clothes. I got everything ready and when Charlie came back we went out.
We went to Zellers and then to Stanley Park. Alex really enjoyed it, we saw all the animals, had popcorn and saw a clown painting kids faces. We also went on the miniature train and Alex went on a pony ride. We left at four o’clock and drove around for awhile. We went to Shanghai for dinner, after dinner Charlie phoned the Chew’s and asked if anyone was sick, we wanted to come over. Edward answered and said everyone was okay. He said they had tried to get a hold of us, a friends mother has cancer. They’re taking her to a faith healer. We got there around six o’clock. They were surprised to see Alex, they thought he looked good.
Carrie said oh how come you don’t have any hair? Alex seemed a bit embarrassed he look like he didn’t know what to say.
When Jolene came back from taking Carrie swimming, she said oh I better not get too close to Alex I still have Bronchitis. She said she couldn’t get rid of it. The doctor told her if she quit smoking she would get over it. It irritated me that Edward said no one was sick, we wouldn’t of come if we had known that.
We left before nine o’clock. The moon was really big tonight. Alex watched it all the way home and when it disappeared he would say where are you Mr Moon. It sure was cute to listen to him.
Alex went to bed around eleven o’clock. I went to bed shortly afterwards.

I woke up in the middle of the night. Alex was crying, he said he was thirsty. Ten minutes later he came into our bed. An hour later I woke up with a stomach ache, finally I went to sleep.
The phone woke me up at nine o’clock. The hospital wanted us to come in at ten o’clock on Monday morning.
Alex and I had breakfast and I gave him his medicine.
I felt like I had no energy. After breakfast I did the laundry. I also changed the sheets on our bed. Then I tided up the house.
Alex and I had a nap around three o’clock. I was so tired I could hardly stay awake.
We woke up around five o’clock. We went out for dinner at six o’clock. Alex seems very difficult to control in the restaurant now. I don’t know if it’s because he hasn’t been out lately or it’s just his age. Afterwards we went to the mall and then we came home.
We watched videos, I wrote in the journal for about an hour or more.
I’m going to get Alex ready for bed then I’m going to bed myself. It’s now almost eleven o’clock

We stopped at Merritt for breakfast. Then we stopped again after Hope. I drove the rest of the way home. We got home before three o’clock.
I phoned Shirley but she wasn’t home and the office number was busy. Then I phoned Mom.
Charlie went and cut the lawn and washed his car.
I unpacked everything and did the laundry.

We came back around two o’clock. Paul was finishing stripping the fence. Alex and Charlie went into the pool. I started packing up and did our laundry.
At four o’clock Charlie and I started cooking dinner. We had bought chicken, potatoes and salad. We had dinner around seven o’clock. Around nine o’clock we watched a video we had rented.
Alex woke up before eleven o’clock. He had fallen out of bed and he was absolutely furious. It took us about half an hour to get him settled down. Then we watched the rest of the movie and went to bed.

I woke up at 9:30 a.m. Alex wanted me to get him dressed then I took him to the bathroom. We had breakfast and I gave Alex his medicine.
Charlie and Paul went out to rent a machine to strip the paint off the fence. They came back and Paul started working on the fence.
We had lunch shortly afterwards. Paul keeps on giving Alex food which I find quite irritating. The way those two smoke you would think they would be a little bit more understanding. It really makes it difficult for me. I can hardly wait to leave. The bed gives me a backache, the pillow is so fat I have a headache and the air stinks. The past few days I’ve had a headache and a backache. I hate to complain but it’s just not my kind of holiday. Charlie and Alex seem to be enjoying themselves. They don’t have to do anything, I feel like I have to tidy up all the time since Blair is at work and Paul said I would have to help out.
In the afternoon I went out shopping. Holly phoned and asked if Alex would like a friend to play with. They came over after I left, Holly has a babysitting job this summer.
Holly made dinner, we had dinner around six thirty. Paul went out to a baseball game his team was playing tonight.
When Paul came home, we sat around and talked. We talked about what we would do if one us won 6/49. All of us except Paul said they would buy an expensive sports car. Paul said he would buy a van or a truck and go out into the woods and chop wood. We had a big laugh over that.

Charlie wanted to go out shopping, we left before ten o’clock. Today is a holiday so the stores were open later. We went to Woolco but it wasn’t open until eleven o’clock. Then we went to Aberdeen mall and it didn’t open until twelve o’clock. We finally went to Overwaite Foods, they were open since eight o’clock. We came home around noon and had lunch.
We went into the pool in the afternoon. Alex did really well in the pool, he didn’t forget anything. He was diving in no time at all. It was great to see him doing so well.
Around four o’clock Charlie and I started to prepare dinner. We had steak, corn on the cob and salad.
We had dinner around seven o’clock. I really watched my dinner. I was afraid the cat was going to get it again!
After dinner we talked for awhile and cleaned up. I gave Alex his medicine and got him ready for bed. Then we watched TV until around midnight.

I took him downstairs and got him dressed. Then we went upstairs and I got Alex his breakfast. Alex wouldn’t take his medicine, he said Charlie would have to give it to him. Charlie gave him his medicine. Blair made blueberry waffles for breakfast and I washed some of the dishes. It’s a lot of work when there’s seven of us to cook for. I find I’m more in the way, I just don’t know what to do.
By the time we finished breakfast it was almost noon. I wrote in the journal for awhile. Then at one o’clock we went to Sun Fest, it’s similar to Sea Festival but I think Sea Festival is better. There’s more entertainment and it’s a nicer beach.
We came home around three o’clock. Blair had stayed home to do the laundry, she didn’t miss much. Alex was quite irritable anyways which wasn’t much fun. He seems to be having mood swings from the medication.
I wrote in the journal for about an hour. Alex came and asked me to read him some stories.
We had dinner after six o’clock. I went to sit down and the cat was eating my dinner. Gross me out of what! I put her on the floor and told Blair. It sure was weird I didn’t think cats liked meat. I put my plate on the counter and got some more dinner. After we finished eating Paul asked if anyone wanted some more meat. The only meat left was the one the cat had been eating., we thought he was joking. He had already taken a piece off and eaten it. We all laughed over that, I didn’t think he would eat it!

I woke up at two o’clock and went to the bathroom. At three o’clock Alex woke me up to go to the bathroom and then again at seven o’clock. We went back to sleep and woke up after eight o’clock.
We went upstairs and I got Alex his breakfast. We sat around and talked. At eleven o’clock Blair, Jay and I went out. We went and got groceries, we came back around two o’clock. Unfortunately I did not have very much money on me. Charlie only gave me forty dollars. I really had to watch what I bought.
We had lunch, buns, cheese and BBQ chicken.
Alex wanted to go to the mall, we left just before three o’clock.
This morning Charlie phoned an emergency number Blair had gotten from the R.C.M.P and told them he was trying to get a hold of his sisters. They took the information and told Charlie they would try to get a hold of them. Charlie seemed quite flustered, he was very anxious to get in touch with them. Even Blair said she was glad when Charlie got in touch with his sisters as he seemed very anxious.
Barbra phoned not even five minutes later, Charlie had gone to the car to get a map. So I talked to Barbra, she wasn’t too happy to talk to me. She said someone was hurt and in the hospital but I didn’t catch who it was. I have a hard time understanding her, her accent is pretty strong. Then she said didn’t Charlie phone me and I said yes. She didn’t say anything more so I gave the phone to Charlie, he was just coming in. She may have been upset but I don’t think that was very nice.
Andy is in the hospital with a broken collar bone. He was at work and the building was flattened, he’s lucky to be alive.
We came home after five o’clock from the mall. Nobody was hungry so we had a later dinner. We ate around eight o’clock. After dinner I gave Alex his medicine and put him to bed. Alex wanted Kelly in the room again, he was asleep shortly afterwards.
We watched a video, I went to bed after midnight.

I gave Alex his medicine then Charlie, Alex, Paul and Holly went out for awhile. I unpacked our clothes and had a shower. I wrote in the journal for about ten minutes then they all came back.
By this time it was almost four o’clock, we sat around and talked mostly about Alex’s condition. Then we went and watched TV.
Blair came home before six o’clock, we went out for dinner at Bonanza. After dinner we went to the video store and rented two movies.
We came home around eight o’clock and sat around and talked. Then we watched the video.
I put Alex to bed at ten o’clock. He wanted Kelly to come in the room with him. Alex fell asleep shortly afterwards.
After the video we watched the news, they said there was a Tornado in Edmonton. We were all quite concerned as Charles’s sisters live there. The clips on the TV looked pretty bad, it must be terrible to loose everything.
We went to bed after midnight.
