I woke up at nine o’clock. Alex and I had breakfast then I had a shower and got dressed.
Charlie vacuumed while I tided up the house. Dean came over at twelve thirty to write up the papers for us to sign. Then he put the sign in our yard and Charlie helped him to put a sign on the fence at they back.
I had made Dad a birthday cake earlier. Alex helped me put on the icing and chocolate sprinkles.
I started cooking the vegetables at four o’clock. Charlie started barbequing just before five o’clock.
Mom and Dad came at five o’clock. We ate dinner at five thirty. Alex helped Dad with his cake. I even had a piece but just a small piece. It was the first time in almost four months.
After dinner Dad opened his presents. Blair and family gave him a cribbage game, Joan and family gave him hobby books, we gave him two pairs of socks, a box of nuts and chocolates.
We played a card game and we actually beat Mom and Dad. Dad said you would have thought they would have let us win, since it’s my birthday!
Mom and Dad left at ten o’clock. Alex got ready for bed while we cleaned up the house. Charlie went to bed at eleven o’clock but I didn’t finish until after midnight.
