I slept in Alex’s bed last night. I woke up at 7:30 a.m., I had over slept. We have to be at the hospital at 8:45 a.m. I woke Charlie and Alex up. We were half an hour late.
We didn’t have to wait as much this time but the doctor sure was rude.
I told her about Alex’s arm, after she had examined him. She said why didn’t you tell me in the beginning well bring him off the table and take off his shirt. I felt like saying what’s your problem, it’s only the beginning of the week.
Then when Alex had his bone marrow they put in a clear fluid. It looked like Methotrexiate and I asked if it was. Dr S said we never put it in a bone marrow. Her tone of voice was really uncalled for. Krisann looked quite shocked, she said that’s the freezing for the bone marrow.
When we went for Alex’s I.V. push, Alex decided he didn’t want it. Alex fought a lot. I had to hold Alex’s arm while Lenore put the needle in.
We left the hospital around one o’clock, we went to the post office to get a registered letter for Dad. We went to McDonald’s for lunch and then we went home.
When we got home Kurt and Nora were just coming home. Alex asked if Kurt could come over. I also asked Nora if she could look after Alex when I went to the doctors on Thursday. She said she could and Kurt came over to play.
Kurt left around three o’clock. I cleaned up the house and started to cook dinner. We ate dinner at five o’clock and then we went downstairs to exercise.
I got Alex ready for bed at eight thirty.
I watched TV and went to bed. I was totally exhausted from today.
