I woke up at nine o’clock. Alex and I had breakfast then I had a shower, got dressed, gave Alex a shower, and helped him get dressed.
We left at ten thirty, Alex and myself are going to Kurt Andrew’s birthday party. Kurt had come over yesterday with his birthday invitation. I had gone out yesterday afternoon and gotten his present. Nora said that Kurt had been upset when he had brought his invitation over when we were on holiday, it was probably the first day that we were away. She said from then on Kurt had come over every day or phoned to see if we were home.
Alex had a pretty good time, he wasn’t watching what he was doing and dropped his hamburger on the floor. Nora went and got him another one.
There were all boys except for Toni, and were they ever noisy. We left at twelve thirty and came home. Alex thought the party was much too short. He played with Patrick when we got home. They played most of the afternoon and then Kurt and Timothy came over. I sent them all home at five o’clock.
We had dinner at six o’clock. After Alex went outside and played with his friends. I called him in at seven o’clock and got him ready for bed at eight o’clock. I watched TV and went to bed at eleven o’clock.
