I woke up at nine o’clock. Alex wasn’t up yet so I had a shower and got dressed. I made Alex his breakfast and tided up the house.
Marla phoned and said they would have to leave at two o’clock, she had to pick something up. She wondered if it would be alright if they came earlier.
They arrived before eleven o’clock. Alex was really excited to see Lanie. Marla gave Alex a big car, small cars, Mickey Mouse shoes, Ghostbusters stickers and a pencil set.
Marla talked a lot about her trip to England. She was annoyed with her brother. Her brother came to see James two days before they left. She said since she came to Canada twelve years ago, her brother hasn’t phoned her once. It looks like they won’t hear from her for awhile.
After they left we went to the mall to pay the Woodward’s and Bay bill. We got home just before Charlie got home.
We went to Burger King for dinner then we wandered around the mall. I still didn’t find any shorts.
We came home around eight o’clock. I was feeling pretty lousy. Once I got Alex to bed I went to bed as well.
