Diagnosis: Leukemia; March 18, 1989

I woke up at ten o’clock. Alex and I had breakfast then I had a shower and got dressed.

We went to the mall in the afternoon, then we went out for dinner. We went to Mom and Dad’s afterwards.

I can’t believe the difference in my two pregnancies. With this pregnancy I can’t eat chicken, it really makes me gag. The differences in the two pregnancies are a lot. With Alex I couldn’t eat beef, eggs or spicy food and I ate very healthy food. I usually ate hot cereal for breakfast then a bran muffin. For lunch I would have a sandwich and later an apple. For dinner I would eat a salad and cottage cheese.

In this pregnancy I can’t stand to eat chicken, spicy food upsets my stomach and I love to eat anything sweet.

Alex went to bed at nine o’clock. I watched tv and went to bed at ten o’clock.
