Samantha woke up at seven thirty. After I had fed her I had my breakfast. While I was changing her, Alex woke up and came into her room. Alex said Can’t I have breakfast first this time. I said she’s already had breakfast. Alex said Alright! Alex has been having bacon for breakfast every day this week.
I put Samantha down for a nap much to Alex’s disgust. He wanted Samantha to stay up longer.
I fed Samantha again at eleven thirty. She didn’t eat that much, she kept on getting disrupted.
I took Alex to school and came home. Samantha had a nap while I had lunch. She ate again at two o’clock.
After school we came home. Alex wanted to play outside but I said no. Iit’s been raining outside all day and I don’t want him to get sick. He was pretty annoyed to say the least.
I invited Marla over for lunch next week. I told her how much trouble I’m having with Samantha and I don’t think she’s ready for solids. She agreed with me especially since she won’t take breast milk on a spoon.
Charlie and Alex went grocery shopping while I cooked dinner. Samantha cried on and off, she seems to be really tired but won’t go to sleep.
We ate dinner before six o’clock. After dinner I cleaned up the kitchen and fed Samantha.
Charlie looked after Samantha while I got Alex ready for bed. We finished the Turtle book. I thought it was really good. Alex has to get to sleep early tonight as they go on an all day field trip. That should be pretty tiring.
Samantha is having a nap. I’m writing in the journal, it’s nine thirty. I’ll have my snack and go to bed soon.
