Samantha woke me up at seven o’clock. I had checked on her in the middle of the night and found her on her back. She keeps on slipping onto her back and isn’t able to go back again.
After I had fed Sam we came upstairs, she sat in the swing while I made breakfast. Charlie had been nice enough to do the dishes. Surprise, surprise!
Alex woke up after I had finished breakfast. I made him breakfast then he went and laid down on the couch. Alex asked me to get his comforter, he said he was cold.
I put Samantha back to her crib at nine o’clock. Then I changed the sheets on Alex’s and our bed and I did the dishes.
Samantha was asleep so I had my shower and got dressed. Alex was still lying on the couch. Alex asked me to heat up the leftovers. While Alex was eating I put the diapers in the washing machine.
Samantha had woken up after I had come out of the shower. I gave her her soother but she kept on spitting it out.
I fed Samantha then it was time for lunch. I put Sam in the playpen, she seems to really like it. She lays on her back and looks around. Sometimes if she thinks we’re ignoring her she’ll complain.
After lunch Alex had a shower and I gave Samantha a bath. Then Sam went back to her crib at one o’clock.
I did three more loads of laundry and the dishes. Alex wants a tuna fish sandwich. He had Alligator soup earlier but he’s still hungry.
It’s three thirty, Charlie will be home from work soon. He’s working overtime. I’m writing in the journal.
Charlie wants to go out for dinner. We went to White Spot. We got there before five and there’s quite a long line up. Samantha fell asleep in my arms while we were waiting and slept most of the time while we were at the booth.
When we got home, I fed Samantha. She seemed rather cranky, so I took her temperature. It was 38.88C, I thought because I had left her in her snowsuit while we were in the restaurant that was why. I didn’t give her Tempra at that time.
Alex fell asleep at eight thirty on the couch. He was feeling okay today hasn’t had a temperature. He can’t be feeling too good if he falls asleep now.
At eleven o’clock I took Alex up to bed and got him into his pajamas. Alex said he was so tired and his eyes hurt. He was very cranky.
Samantha started to cry just as I was getting ready for bed. I took her temperature, it’s 39.08C. This time I gave her tempra. Luckily she was able to get to sleep.
Then I was able to go to bed myself. I left both the kids room doors open just for my piece of mind.
