Diagnosis: Leukemia; April 2, 1990

Samantha woke up at six thirty, too early for me. Fortunately she went to bed at eight o’clock. I went to bed as well.

Alex woke me up at nine o’clock to make him breakfast. Samantha was awake but wasn’t crying. I fed her at ten thirty. When we came back from school Sam wanted to go to sleep.

I woke Samantha up at two o’clock for her feeding then it was time to get Alex.

Alex said he wanted Marty to come over. I said did you asked him yet. He said yes. I said where’s his mother. Bonny was just coming in the door. She said it was okay. I said I’m sorry you couldn’t have known earlier. She said that was okay. Bonny said she was sorry she didn’t come to the party. I said that was okay. She said she was glad she didn’t have to go. I felt rather insulted, I don’t know what her problem is.

I put Samantha to bed when we got home. When Charlie got home, I went to Save on foods to buy paper. Alex used up at least two packages of paper. When I got back Marty had gone home.

Alex walked across the coffee table. He’s lucky the glass didn’t break. Charlie was really mad at him.

We ate dinner at five thirty. I fed Samantha at six thirty and eight o’clock.

Alex went to bed at eight o’clock. I went to bed at eleven o’clock.
