Samantha woke up before seven o’clock. I have a lot to do today. Lin phoned at ten last night. They decided to stay with us. The house needs to be tided up and vacuumed.
Sam went for a nap after her feeding. I did laundry, put things away and cleaned.
I fed Samantha again at ten o’clock. We left for school at eleven thirty with the baking. When we got to the school Lettie offered to bring it in. I thanked her, I really appreciated it. It would have been rather difficult otherwise.
When we got home I put Samantha in the playpen, but she was tired so I put her down for a nap.
After I had my lunch I vacuumed the house. It was time for another feeding.
Alex got back from his field trip at 2:45 p.m., so we left at that time to get him. The class was back from their fried trip to the Burnaby Museum.
When we got home from school I put Samantha down for a nap. I did a few things around the house then wrote in the journal. Charlie got back late as he went to Mom and Dad’s to get the roof racks.
We left before five to go to McDonald’s. After we finished eating we went to United Buy and Sell to buy a mattress for the guest bedroom.
We left shortly after we had come home. We went to Alex’s school for their Fun Fair. It was quite good but really hot. We saw Shirley, Aaron, Brent and Monique there. We walked around with them. Alex played bowling, we went on the cake walk, the bake sale, and Alex played pistol shooting. At the bake sale we didn’t see my cup cakes. I guess someone bought them! I was thinking of buying them back. Alex thought that was pretty funny!
We saw some of Alex’s classmates, Carter and a few of the girls. A couple of them won a cake at the cake walk.
Alex bought brownies at the bake sale. When we got home I put Samantha in her crib for a nap. I had a shower, it sure was hot in the school!
Lin, Simon, Tina and Beau arrived around nine thirty. We had made up the guest bedroom for them and expected Tina so sleep in Alex’s room. Tina wanted to sleep with Lin. They all slept in the guest bedroom which must have been rather crowded.
Samantha ate at ten o’clock. Lin took a few pictures of her.
I went to bed at eleven thirty.
