It’s been tough having Alex having ear infections. The one ear is plugged all the time. I read in a book that once medication is started in 24 hours the ear should become unplugged. So far it hasn’t happened so I’ll have to phone Dr. C on Monday.
We have to repeat ourselves a lot and Alex gets really annoyed. He says you know I can’t hear properly.

Alex went to the hospital with Charlie today. Dr. Ch said Alex couldn’t have chemo because of his ear infections. Alex’s blood counts were okay but if he had chemo it might cause his ear infections to get worse. She said to continue on the medication for another week. Alex goes again on the 12th.
