Samantha let me sleep in until eight thirty this morning. That sure was a nice birthday present!
After I fed Samantha I made breakfast. The I had a shower and got dressed.
I gave Samantha another feeding then we went to Mom and Dad’s to do a few things. When I tried to open the garage door it wouldn’t open. Then we went inside the house and they were home. Well they had come home but had gone out again. We stayed for quite awhile but they still didn’t come so we left. We saw them coming along Mara Drive, so we went back.
They’re looking good. Mom said Dad has improved 100%. That sure was good to hear. They told us about what had happened in the camp this year.
We got home after two o’clock. I sure was hungry we hadn’t had lunch yet except Alex.
Lin phoned around four o’clock. She said they were stuck at Pender Harbour and wouldn’t be able to get another ferry until 8:20 p.m. Charlie talked to her and they decided to cancel our dinner plans.
We invited Mom and Dad over for dinner, Charlie went and got Chinese food for dinner.
Alex helped me blow out the candles on my cake. It took me two blows!
Mom and Dad left before eight o’clock.
Alex went to bed at nine o’clock.
Joan phoned to wish me a Happy Birthday. She told me she’s pregnant and due November 11th. That sure is exciting news! It’ll be a boy, I think so anyways.
I went to bed at midnight.
