Diagnosis: Leukemia; May 12, 1990

I woke up at eight thirty. When I checked Samantha her arm was in between the bars. She sure likes to get close to the sides of the crib.

After Samantha’s second feeding we went to buy plants. My Mother’s Day present form Alex and Sam. Then we went to Lougheed Mall. We bought Mom writing paper, kitchen mitts and a kitchen towel.

We got home at three thirty. I fed Samantha again and she went for a nap.

Alex was disappointed he couldn’t find any Turtle pants. Charlie had promised he could have something since Alex has to have a back poke on Monday. Charlie said he would take him tomorrow.

Charlie started dinner by getting the chicken ready and put it in the oven. I did the vegetables and cleaned up the kitchen once Samantha had gone for a nap.

After dinner I did the dishes. Samantha woke up at six thirty for her feeding.

Alex went to bed at eight thirty.

Samantha was in her crib but didn’t sleep until nine o’clock. Then I had to wake her up for her next feeding.

We went to bed at eleven o’clock.
