I took Samantha to the Simon Fraser Health Unit for her shots. The receptionist weighed Samantha, she weighs 10 pounds 15 ounces and measure 24 ¾”. the receptionist asked me how old she was. She said she was too small for four months.
When the nurse came the receptionist whispered to her that the baby was too small and skinny.
By the time I saw the nurse I was rather irritated. She said Samantha weight was too low. I told her Samantha had been ill in January and hadn’t put on much weight since then. She suggested feeding Samantha on both sides and have her checked again in a few weeks.
They sure make you feel like you’re inadequate. Mind you I was comparing her schedule with Alex’s when he was a baby. That wasn’t a good idea no doubt. Hopefully Samantha will put on more weight soon.
