The telephone woke me up at nine o’clock this morning. Charlie was hammering downstairs which actually woke me up previously. The phone call was from the dentist to remind Charlie he has an appointment tomorrow.
I had breakfast and made Alex his breakfast. I went downstairs to see how Charlie was doing. He said I should go and see Marla this morning. I phoned Marla and she said she would be home this morning. I told her I would be over in about half an hour. I had a shower and get ready to go.
I had a really good visit, it was nice to be with someone else who I can talk about anything.
I came home before one o’clock. Lanie lent Alex some more toys. Alex was quite excited about this and played quite well most of the afternoon.
We had dinner at five o’clock. Charlie was home so it made things a lot easier.
Shirley phoned around seven o’clock, she said she could bring Brent over tomorrow night. She asked if she should come over or if they should just drop Brent off. I teased her, I told her if you don’t want to come that’s fine. Shirley said well I was just there on Monday I thought maybe you wouldn’t want my company. I started to laugh. She said you little brat! Shirley said she’ll be over tomorrow night around five o’clock.
We went to Mom and Dad’s, Charlie wanted to watch the Sea Festival fireworks. They were really good, Alex really enjoyed them.
We got home before midnight. Alex was asleep, I put him in his bed. I went to bed shortly afterwards.
