I woke up at nine o’clock. I hadn’t even had breakfast yet when Alex asked me to play with him. I told him I was going to have breakfast first. He said NO, I want you to play with me. He did this throughout the whole day. I wouldn’t mind playing with Alex if he wouldn’t pester me all day long.
I had breakfast and got dressed. Charlie had gotten Alex his breakfast. I got Alex dressed. Charlie went out to the bank.
I felt really drained today like I had no energy at all. Alex played on and off. Charlie came back at 10:45 a.m. and got ready to go to work. They asked him to come in at noon.
I tried putting Alex down for a nap before one o’clock., but he wouldn’t go to sleep. Alex seemed very hard to handle today. I think he’s just really bored. He’s use to doing so much it’s been really hard on him.
Alex didn’t believe me that Charlie would be home before dinner. Charlie got home at four o’clock and we had dinner after five o’clock. I did the dishes and got ready to go out. I had about enough today, it was really hard to handle. Really quite depressing when you think of it, sometimes I can hardly wait to get out.
I came home at 8:30 p.m. I gave Alex a bath. He screamed he didn’t want a bath. He went into his room and threw his sitn’drive. It broke in half and I told Alex that I wouldn’t buy him another one. He said that’s okay I didn’t like it anyways. What can I say!
Alex asked Charlie to brush his teeth and read him a story. Alex came and gave me a hug and kiss. He can be such a sweet child when he wants to, I really love him so much.
Alex was asleep by nine o’clock. I went and watched TV for an hour or so. Then I wrote in the journal for about an hour. It’s after eleven o’clock, I’m going to bed soon.
