I woke Charlie up before seven o’clock, he said he would get up early and wait for Brent. Aaron came at 7:20 a.m. and dropped Brent off. Alex was awake, they went and played together. Charlie had told me to go back to bed. I slept until nine o’clock.
Alex and Brent made sparkle stars and pictures. Then they had a snack and played some more. I gave them lunch and after lunch they watched a video.
I went out and returned the video. I came home before two o’clock. I had told Brent and Alex to put away all the toys. The had made a real mess of Alex’s room and I wanted them put away before I got back. When I got back they hadn’t done any of it. I told them to clean up night now. Alex and I had a disagreement. He said the toys were too heavy for him to put away. I took him into our bedroom and I told him he would have to stay there until he calmed down. He was crying so much he was almost hysterical. Alex finally calmed down and apologized.
I iced the cupcakes and we sang HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Brent. I had put a candle on Brent’s cupcake.
Alex and Brent watched TV, Alex fell asleep at 3:30 p.m. After awhile Brent played video games. At 4:30 p.m. Brent wanted to go outside and ride Alex’s bike. At 4:45 p.m. I told Brent to come in, we went and woke Alex up. Shirley arrived shortly after. They left at 5:30 p.m.
I gave Alex another surprise, I spent about half an hour putting it together. We had dinner after six o’clock.
Alex played with his new toy for quite awhile. I gave Alex a bath at nine o’clock. I had put the sprinkler on earlier so I moved them. I got Alex ready for bed, I told him he could watch TV.
I wrote in the journal for about an hour.
Alex went to bed at eleven o’clock. It’s 11:10 p.m. I’ll go to bed soon.
