It’s our anniversary today, eight years! It’s hard to believe.
Alex came into bed around one o’clock. He cried a little bit but the pain in his legs seems to have lessened.
I woke up before nine o’clock. I heard Alex and Charlie talking. I had my breakfast and got Alex a sandwich. I got dressed and started vacuuming the house.
Charlie went out shopping. I finished vacuuming and then I washed all the floors. I went out around one o’clock. By the time I came back it was time for Charlie to go to work.
Alex watched a video and after it was over he said so what are we going to do now. I told him there was a surprise in the spare room. He grinned away and went and got his prize.
I went and started cooking dinner. I told Alex if he brought his new books into the kitchen I would read them. He went and got his books, I read them in between cooking dinner. We had dinner at 5:30 p.m.
After dinner we made cupcakes, tomorrow Brent is coming over. Alex said he wants to have a party, since it’s Brent’s birthday on Saturday.
Alex had a bath at seven o’clock and got ready for bed. Alex and I put away his toys then I read him a story. Alex said he couldn’t sleep but it looks more like he doesn’t want to sleep yet. I told him I would be back in a couple of minutes to sit with him but he was fast asleep.
I watched TV for awhile then I cleaned up the kitchen. I wrote in the journal for about an hour. I’m going to bed soon.
