We had another difficult night last night, actually worse than yesterday night. First of all I woke up just after ten o’clock with a Charlie horse. Charlie had to help me out of bed. Then I heard Alex coughing, I gave him Tempra and a drink of 7UP. He sure has a terrible cough.
Alex came into our bed, started to cough and then he threw up. Luckily we had put a towel on the bed, so he didn’t get it on the sheet. He did get it on his pillow. Charlie took the dirty stuff to the wash.
Alex and I slept in my bed while Charlie went to Alex’s bed. Charlie didn’t seem to mind and Alex seemed to want to be near me.
Alex coughed again around seven o’clock. He went back to sleep again. I woke up at eight o’clock had a shower, got dressed and had my breakfast.
Alex woke up at ten o’clock. He had a shower, got dressed and had breakfast.
Mom and Dad came by at ten thirty with more boxes. Mom asked if I had any appointments today. I told her I had to go to the lab today. I need her to take my blood pressure. Mom said to come down before their company arrived. I said okay we’ll be down soon.
When we got to Mom and Dad’s, Mom was making lunch. After we had lunch Mom took my blood pressure, it’s 130/80. Alex and I went to the lab. The nurse was surprised I was in the last part of my pregnancy. She said your so small, you must take care of yourself. I told her I hadn’t put on much weight.
We came home afterwards, I find I get very tired. Alex played in his room and then watched tv. I rested most of the afternoon.
Charlie came home at four o’clock. He’s feeling pretty tired, it’s hard when we haven’t slept well for the last few nights.
We ate dinner at six o’clock. Alex watched Cosby of course. Then he put away his toys and went to bed.
I went to bed at nine o’clock, I’m tired.
