I woke up at ten o’clock. I made pancakes for breakfast. Alex had cereal earlier but he wanted pancakes as well. After breakfast I had a shower and got dressed. Then I changed the sheets on our beds, did the laundry, the dishes and tided up the house.
I had invited Mom and Dad over for dinner tonight but Mom said she had already taken out a ham. So she asked us down. I said I would bring dessert but Mom said she had already made a pie. I said boy you’ve really gotten ahead of me.
We went down to their house at four thirty. We ate dinner at five o’clock. After dinner Alex watched E.T. Mom had bought the movie before Christmas. We played a game. Alex asked us to play his game after we had finished playing ours. Grandpa, Granma, Alex and I played bumper cars.
We went home around ten o’clock. I told Alex to get ready for bed. He complained again that he didn’t want to go to bed. I said last night you went to bed four hours after your bedtime and tonight you’re going to bed two hours after your bedtime. Alex finally got into bed, he was asleep pretty soon afterwards.
I watched TV and went to bed after eleven o’clock.
