I woke up at ten thirty. Alex and I had breakfast then I got dressed and cleaned the bathrooms. Charlie went out shopping, when he came back I went out. I had my lunch before I left. I went to Toy City to see if they had any COP figures. I wanted to get one as a Hospital prize for next week. Toy City didn’t have any so I went to consumers. I asked the clerk if they had any COPS figures before filling out the order form. Usually they don’t have the popular items especially after Christmas. They had Big Boss and Buttons McBoom Boom. Alex had said he wanted McBoom Boom so I got that one. Then I went to London Drugs and came home.
When Alex saw the bag he thought he was getting it today. I told him it was a hospital prize and he would get it on Monday. Alex was really mad and threw himself on the floor. He said he couldn’t wait that long. Alex calmed down after awhile.
Charlie went to work at two thirty. Alex and I built a different police station with his Lego.
We had leftovers, Charlie had bought at lunch time. It was Chow Mien and Rice noodles. Then we played video games. I vacuumed the basement and sorted through Alex’s old clothes and put them into boxes. Alex had a good time going through all his clothes. He kept on saying I remember this short or paints this is my favourite. Then he said these are you’re shoes Mama. I said how could they be my shoes. Alex said oh ya that’s silly of me. I wrote down the clothing and the size while Alex put them in the box. Alex really enjoyed doing it.
We went outside at seven thirty to shovel the snow. It’s been snowing since four thirty and didn’t stop until about nine o’clock. Alex helped me shoves the snow then we had a snowball fight.
We watched tv then at eight o’clock Alex got ready for bed. We did speak and read instead of a story then he got into bed.
I watched tv and went to bed at eleven o’clock.
