Diagnosis: Leukemia; January 24, 1989

I woke up at ten o’clock. Alex and I had breakfast then I had a shower and got dressed. I tided up the house and did the dishes.

After lunch we stopped at Mom and Dad’s. Mom asked me to mail a parcel for her and pick up two 6/49 lottery tickets and two scratches.

Then we went to see Dr. C. We had to wait twenty minutes in the waiting room which was really unusual. Then we had to wait another ten minutes in the examining room. When we finally saw Dr. C she said that we had been put out of order so we should have been first but were last. Dr. C examined Alex, she said he seemed to be doing okay.

After seeing the doctor we went to the Post Office to mail Mom’s parcel then we went to Save-On-Foods to buy a few things and the tickets.

Then we went to Mom and Dad’s. I wasn’t planning on staying that long but Mom asked us to stay for dinner. We stayed until seven o’clock. I was so tired I could hardly stay awake. When we got home Alex got ready for bed. I watched tv and went to bed at eleven o’clock.
