I woke up at nine o’clock. I made breakfast for Alex then I started to do my housework. The house was in a mess and with Marla and the kids coming for lunch I had my work cut out for me. I didn’t have breakfast and started right away.
I talked to Mom this morning to tell her I wouldn’t be going to the hospital today. She said that was okay and was going up herself shortly.
I vacuumed the house, tided up the house, made our beds, and cleaned the bathrooms.
Marla phoned at eleven o’clock, she asked if we were still getting together for lunch today. I said yes Alex is looking forward to it. Marla said you’re sure? I said yes. She said we’ll be over in half an hour.
I started to make our lunch, I made egg sandwiches. I also tided up the basement before they came. They arrived bored I had finished.
Paxton sure had changed he looked like he had grown but Marla said he hadn’t. Paxton has a lot more hair and he’s put on more weight. He doesn’t look so babyish anymore.
Alex and Lanie played for awhile before lunch. Lanie said she wanted a cheese sandwich for lunch. I also made Paxton a cream cheese sandwich.
The kids played really well together. Paxton seems to play a lot better now. He doesn’t need Marla to keep him busy.
They left at three o’clock. I did the dishes while Alex played.
Mom phoned at four o’clock. She said Dad was about the same. Dad had the anagram this morning it showed the arteries in the lower part of his leg but they couldn’t tell what shape it’s in. They’ll have to operate tomorrow.
We had dinner at five o’clock. After dinner we played video games. Then we watched tv, I was sure tired it was all I could do to stay awake.
Alex went to bed at eight o’clock. I watched tv and went to bed at ten o’clock.
