I woke up at ten o’clock. I had a shower, got dressed and had breakfast with Alex. I changed the sheets on the beds and did the laundry. We had lunch then we left to go to the hospital at one o’clock.
We got to the hospital half an hour and luckily Mary did Alex’s blood test almost right away. We saw Dr. S half an hour or so later. She said Alex’s blood count was up so she was increasing his medication, Mercaptopurine to ¾ of a pill alternating to 1 pill daily, Methotrexiate to 5 pills weekly, Bactrim and Prednisone stay the same.
We left after three o’clock. We stopped at the mall and Alex picked out a transformer as his prize. We got home at four o’clock.
I talked to mom before we had dinner. She said Dad is having a lot of trouble sleeping at night. His foot was going numb and keeping him awake.
After dinner we watched tv. I find going to the hospital always takes a lot out of me.
Alex went to bed at eight o’clock. I watched tv and went to bed at eleven o’clock.
