I woke up at eight o’clock. I had a shower, got dressed and had breakfast.
Alex woke up at nine o’clock. He didn’t have breakfast until much later.
I changed the sheets on our bed, did laundry and tided up the house.
Betty-Sue phoned at noon to make an appointment for three or three thirty.
Charlie was still home so he helped me make sure the house was in good order.
Alex said a car parked in the driveway. Then the people got out, talked for awhile, got back in the car and left. I had been out in the backyard. Alex said they didn’t ring the doorbell. So I didn’t know if they changed their minds or what happened.
Betty-Sue arrived back about fifteen minutes later. They must of gone to look at another house down the block.
Mom phoned while they were here. She asked if Alex wanted to come down for awhile. I said no he’s not too bored now. She said why don’t you come down for dinner, we still have the leftovers from yesterday. I said that would be nice. We will be down in awhile as someone is here looking at the hosue.
We went to Mom and Dad’s at four o’clock. We ate dinner at five o’clock. After dinner Alex played Nintendo while we watched tv.
We came home at seven thirty. Lawrence of Realty Horizons left a message. I phoned the number he left and they paged him. Lawrence said they were at Columbia near North Road and wanted to see our house tonight if that was convenient. I said that would be fine.
They arrived at eight fifteen. Lawrence apologized for coming so late. I said that was okay. The client, a woman said we phoned you earlier. I said we had just come back. She sure seemed to be rude. Then she said can we start in the basement. I said yes go right ahead.
They were downstairs for quite awhile and when they came upstairs, Lawrence asked about the bathroom downstairs. I told him the plumbing was roughed in. The woman asked me if Mariner Way was quite noisy. I said no, not for me. She said to Lawrence I guess further down Mariner Way is nosier.
They went out to the back deck then looked at the rest of the house and left.
Alex went to bed at nine o’clock. I watched tv, wrote in the journal and went to bed at eleven o’clock.
