Diagnosis: Leukemia; September 17, 1989

I woke up before eight o’clock. I heard Charlie in the bathroom which woke me up.

I had a shower, got dressed and had my breakfast.

We got a call from Chris of Multiple Realty, he said his client wants to see the house at 2:30 P.M. We also got a call from Charlie of Park Georgia. He said he would bring his client at two o’clock.

We got busy and cleaned up the house. I did the bathrooms, dusted most of the house and vacuumed the basement. Charlie vacuumed the rest of the house and cleaned the bath tubs.

I took Kelly to Mom and Dad’s and went shopping. I went to the mall and bought Alex a pair of turtle mitts and a turtle belt. They were 25% off, which was good.

My hip was really bothering me, too much housework. By the time I got home I could hardly walk. I feel like I need a cane to walk! Even in the house I have to hold onto something or I feel like I’m going to fall down.

When I got home Charlie said Chris’ client came at two thirty. He said Chris didn’t come but his client gave him Chris’ card. Charlie said they asked a lot of questions and seemed quite interested in the house.

Charlie said Charlie cancelled as his client couldn’t make it. He didn’t phone until three o’clock.

We ate dinner at six o’clock. After dinner we watched tv. Alex went to bed at eight o’clock. I went to bed at eleven o’clock.
