We woke up after eight o’clock. Alex is a lot better, he’s not so irritable in the morning. I got Alex dressed and got him his breakfast. He wanted rice soup. I had pancakes’ and Alex wanted one.
Mom phoned around eleven o’clock and said Joan was being discharged today and she was taking the 1:15 p.m. ferry. I had planned to go to the hospital to see her, so we left right away. We picked up lunch from MacDonald’s and ate at Mom and Dad’s.
We waited for Joan, Paul and Paige to come. They didn’t come until about five o’clock. They took the 7:30 p.m. ferry. The baby looks a lot like Joan, she has red hair.
We all had dinner at Mom and Dad’s. Charlie and Dad went and got fish and chips. We left at about eight o’clock. Alex had a snack and went to bed after nine o’clock. I went to bed after eleven o’clock.
