I woke up at 9:30 p.m., I must have been really tired. I think it’s all the writing I’ve been doing. I’ve been trying to get the journal up to date.
Alex slept in his bed all night. Charlie had gotten Alex dressed and made him breakfast. Alex had pea soup and a banana. Alex said he was still hungry but I told him to wait. Charlie was making vegetables and shrimp with steamed rice, so Alex had some of that after ten o’clock.
Alex was still complaining he was hungry but I told him he had to wait until lunchtime. He was furious and started to scream and yell.
Charlie had gone to the mall before eleven o’clock. I put Alex in our bed and turned the TV. on, he watched Mr Dressup and Sesame street.
Charlie came home after 12:00 p.m., Alex and I had lunch, then I went to the mall to get Alex a pair of slippers. Alex has to go into the hospital to stay overnight. So I figured his old ones are too small and he needs some while he’s in there. I also bought Joan’s baby a present. I was going to send flowers but I thought an outfit would be better.
I came home after two o’clock. Charlie left for work before three o’clock.
Alex and I played some of Alex’s games before dinner. We had dinner before five o’clock. Alex complained after dinner he was still hungry, I told him to wait. Alex had a small pizza with his medicine at seven o’clock. Alex went to bed before eight o’clock.
I wrote in the journal from eight o’clock until 10:30 p.m. when Shirley phoned. We talked for about an hour. I also talked to Aaron, Shirley said he was concerned about Alex so he felt better after talking to me.
I wrote some more in the journal until close to midnight. I’ll get ready for bed soon.
