I woke up after eight o’clock. Alex was asleep in our bed and Charlie was sleeping in Alex’s bed. I had a shower and told Charlie it was almost 8:30 a.m. I dried my hair and woke Alex up. I got dressed and got Alex dressed.
I gave Alex his medicine and he said he didn’t want breakfast. He just wanted cheese he said.
We left before 9:30 a.m. and arrived at the hospital after ten o’clock. Alex painted while we waited. He had his shot before eleven o’clock. Alex cried when the shot went in, he tried to pull his arm away. Alex didn’t want to blow bubbles.
We stopped at a Won Ton House, went home and had lunch.
We went outside after lunch, Charlie washed his car. Alex rode his bike most of the time. We came inside, Alex wanted a popsicle. He watched Porky Pig on TV.
Charlie left for work before three o’clock. Alex and I went outside and washed my car. I moved the car into the garage and started vacuuming it. Before I finished, Alex said his stomach hurt. We went upstairs, he said he was going to throw up. I got him a bowl but he didn’t throw up. He said he would feel better if he threw up. I told him it’s not good for his stomach to throw up every day.
Alex said popsicles help his stomach, he had two more.
We had dinner, then we went outside. I vacuumed the rest of my car and cleaned the back seat. It had gotten quite dirty from the car seat. I moved my car out and swept the floor. Alex rode his bike, somehow or other he fell off. He said he didn’t hurt himself or hit his head. He said I don’t know how I could of fallen off my bike. I told him that’s why the doctor doesn’t want you to ride your bike when your blood is low. This helped Alex a lot to understand why he can’t ride his bike.
We went inside after seven o’clock. Alex wanted popcorn, I made some and we watched TV. He said he wanted to watch a movie I had taped. While it was on he kept asking me questions. He wants my attention all the time. I turned the TV off as he started slapping me and calling me a brat. Alex cried and cried, I told him if he was good and stopped crying he could watch TV.
I got him dressed and he watched TV. I phoned Mom. Alex had fallen asleep while I was on the phone.
I had cleaned his bed sheets so I put them on his bed. I moved Alex to his bed. I watched TV for awhile, then I wrote in the journal for about an hour. It’s eleven o’clock and I’ll be getting ready for bed.
