I woke up before eight o’clock. Charlie was still asleep, so I couldn’t have a shower yet. Alex woke up once I got up. He wanted orange juice and he wanted to watch TV.
At eight thirty Alex had breakfast and Charlie woke up. Charlie had a shower then I had mine. I got Alex dressed and Charlie brushed Alex’s teeth. We left for the hospital at 9:30 a.m., we have to be there by ten o’clock. It was pretty busy today we had to wait about an hour for Alex to have his shot. They had to take blood so they did a small I.V. and then put the ARA-C medicine into the I.V. The nurse said how good Alex was he hardly cried at all, I guess some kids cry a lot.
We went to London Drugs and Shanghai Gardens and then we went home. We had lunch then Charlie went out. I gave Alex some more gravol at 1:15 pm.
Charlie came home, Alex and I played with his lite brite.
I took Kelly for a walk, Alex didn’t want to come. Charlie and Alex played with the lite brite while Kelly and I went for a walk.
I finished knitting the blanket for Paige.
Alex wanted to have a nap but if he does he’ll be up quite late tonight. We went outside, Charlie had gone to work. We played ball, Alex is still unable to ride his bike. I swept some of the garage. We went in at four o’clock, Alex wanted to have dinner. I heated up the soup and rice from lunch. I had a snack later on.
I cleaned up the house then Alex and I played some games.
Alex went to bed at nine o’clock. Shirley had phoned and said she would be over around 10:30 p.m. I did the dishes and tided up. At ten o’clock I wrote in the journal for 45 minutes.
I guess I’ll go to bed late, at least we don’t have to go to the hospital. I’m hoping to be able to sleep in tomorrow morning. Shirley hasn’t come yet it’s now 10:50 a.m. She phoned and said Aaron had just come back. She said she would be over soon. May said she was taking Christopher out for his birthday and wondered about Alex coming. As far as I know Alex will not be able to go. Dr R had said Alex couldn’t go to public places such as Restaurants and Malls. It maybe dumb of me but I thought she would of done things a little differently and had it at home. I found it a bit hurtful at how she went about it but maybe it’s wrong of me. It’s Brent’s party not Alex’s.
I’ll go to bed after Shirley goes home.
