I woke up at nine o’clock, I had breakfast and then I had a shower. Alex didn’t want any breakfast. He use to do this before he got Leukemia, so I feel he’s okay.
Alex has become very mouthy this last week. I really don’t know what to do with him. He spits at us, blows at us, tells us especially me to shut my face. I’ve been putting him into his room but it doesn’t seem to do any good. Mom suggested I take away some of his toys. I will if he keeps on carry on this way and I’ve told him so.
Alex has totally drained me by eleven o’clock. I feel like I could go to bed and sleep for hours. This morning he argued with me off and on. Charlie had gone out, he came back around eleven. I went to the mall and came back at 12:30 p.m. The first thing Alex said was so what did you buy me? I said you think I should buy you something every time I go out and he said YES!
I had lunch and Alex started arguing with me and told me what to do, which really irks me. Alex said he wanted to make cookies so I started it. He was watching TV so he didn’t do much of it.
We had dinner at six o’clock, Alex wanted steak. I BBQ the steak and we also had peas and corn. Alex ate all the peas and corn and about half of the steak.
After dinner we went for a walk, then Alex rode his bike out on the driveway. Later we did some gardening. We came in at eight o’clock. I gave Alex a bath and he was absolutely furious, he screamed and yelled. Then I got Alex ready for bed, he said he was hungry. I gave him a snack with his medicine.
When he went to bed he wanted a story. I told him why would I read you a story when you’ve acted so bad? He’s got to learn to act better. He’s really taking advantage of the situation.
I cleaned up the house and watched TV by this time it was after nine o’clock. I started writing in the journal after ten o’clock. I’ll get ready for bed soon its almost eleven o’clock.
